Have you ever come home from a long day of work and settled down on your sofa to watch Netflix? If you're like me you’ve often probably wondered to yourself “Why can’t I get paid to do this?”
Well, I’ve got some good news.
The online streaming company Netflix is looking for a new "tagger" — someone who will watch their new TV shows and movies all day long. Sounds easy, but what does it take to do the job?
Netflix writes in its job posting:
The candidate will have to categorise kids, family, and teenager television shows, specials, and movies for our 100+ million users. You will be tagging, rating, researching, and enhancing title-level metadata for the Netflix Originals catalogue in a high-volume, high-quality, deadline-driven environment.
The ideal candidate should have a "deep knowledge, five-plus years experience, and education in the film and/or television industry."
Basically, you get to watch kids and family TV for hours on end and categorise the shows, films and movies.
The job will offer flexible hours working from home and a free Netflix account as well.
I don't know about you but I would literally travel anywhere if it meant getting a job where I can sit down and watch TV all day.
