Michigan has become the first state to ban flavored e-cigarettes. The move comes partly in response to the state health department calling youth vaping a public emergency.

In addition to the sweet flavors popular with teenagers, the prohibition will also apply to mint and menthol e-cigarette flavors. Just last week, the Federal Trade Commission launched a probe into e-cigarette-maker Juul and whether it engaged in deceptive marketing by targeting minors.
