As seasons change from winter to spring, I find myself in need of a system cleanse and immune booster. So, decided to prepare this simple lemon cucumber detox water made with fresh lemons and mint.
This is a really tasty and refreshing drink, which not only hydrates you and improves your digestion, but also offers many wonderful detoxing benefits.
Add a couple of tablespoons of chia seeds(optional) to a pitcher to boost the nutritional profile and stay hydrated through the day.
Best served as: Breakfast/Drink

- 4 large lemons
- 3 tbspoons sugar
- 6 cups water
- 1-2 lemons, , sliced for garnish (optional)
- 4 slices Cucumber
- 6 - 8 mint leaves
- Put the sugar and lemon juice in a jug.
- Add some mint, cucumber slices, lemon slices and ice and top up with the water.
- Stir to combine. Rest it for 20 mins in refrigerator and serve chilled.
