A burglar has admitted breaking into a funeral home and having sex with a body.
Kasim Khuram, 23,who lives at a hostel in Aston broke into the Co-Operative undertakers in Walsall Road, Great Barr, Birmingham, on 11 November.
A judge at Birmingham Crown Court warned Khuram, who pleaded guilty to sexual penetration of a body, that he faced a "substantial" jail term.
Sentencing has been postponed until 31 January while a psychiatric report is carried out.
The 23-year-old also admitted burglary of the funeral home, breaking into the building with the intention of stealing.
Following his arrest he was briefly sectioned, the court heard.
