- Rs.330/- for 27 ml / pocket friendly
What does the brand claim:
This foundation cream has just the right touch of skin-perfecting colour for an instant glow.
Gives you your confident daily care.
“Instant glow + Daily Protection = Lakmé Face Magic Skin Tints Crème".
The squeezable packaging comes in a non-clear yellowish colour tube with a grey cap and tube has a nozzle which avoids wastage and is easy to use.
The texture is moderately runny, and watery based. Its good for summers, as it is not creamy – therefore sits well on combination to oily skin types.
The fragrance is the typical cucumber-ish – which is not bad.
The coverage is extremely sheer, and cannot be built up at all. This is good if you want to use it on a regular basis for a no makeup look.
It not only acts as a base but also works as a moisturiser for your skin. Offers higher coverage and superior blending. Has SPF along with cucumber extracts for an instant glow while offering sun protection.
Its water-based and silky; hence, is makes for the perfect makeup and skincare combination.
Directions to Use:
Step 1: Use your middle finger to dab dots of the product on to your cheeks, forehead, nose and chin.
Step 2: Smooth evenly from the centre of your face outwards.
Step 3: Lightly blend the foundation in a downward direction from the hairline to the neckline.
My Take On The Lakme Face Magic Skin Tints Crème :
I'm using this foundation cream from past two years as a base (i use Maybelline SuperStay 24h Liquid Foundation which i'm gping to review soon) as I was searching for something that would not feel cakey or patchy on my face. The sales girl suggested me this Tints crème.
It’s a foundation cream meant for daily use. I don’t think I need something more after I apply this. It also works as a sunscreen.
I have the shade Marble which goes perfectly well with my skin tone. It suits my oily skin and does not leave ugly patches on my skin.
After rubbing in circular motion it did look nice – and gave me a fresh glow, as its claims.
- Not mentioned anywhere!
Where can I buy it?
- Light Weighed, goes well with my complexion .
- Blends smoothly and easily.
- Infused with sunscreen.
- Available in all the outlets.
- The price is not worth the quantity. Its a bit expensive if you compare it with the quantity .
- Strong fragrance.
- Not for those who want to cover up dark spots
Overall, it can be used for daily wear purpose as it gives brightness and glow to the skin which many day creams fail to provide. If you are looking for something to hide scars or pigmentation this will not suffice that purpose. However, if you have clear skin and just need a light tinted moisturizer this can be your pick.
