Lego is hunting for someone to play around with bricks for £27,000 per year

If you’re sick of pushing paperwork on the daily, listen up.

If you spent months building up Lego designs when you were a kid like me, or maybe you still do, then the perfect job has just arrived.

The Lego toy company are looking for a new Master Model Builder to spend all day playing with Lego bricks.

Not only will the lucky plastic brick lover be given free fun with Lego all day, they'll also be paid a salary of around £27,000 ($37,000 USD / ₹25 lakhs).

Whoever gets the job will work at a custom-built studio next to Legoland Discovery Centre’s Creative Workshop.

There are only 22 Master Model Builders on the planet, so to hold the title is considered quite prestigious.

More than 5,000 people have already applied and the top 50 hopefuls will have to win the job by competing in an X Factor-inspired competition.

The job advert states:

"Do you love LEGO and have the Magic in you to create memorable experiences all for the love of fun?

Do you wish to cast a spell of laughter and enjoyment to the people around you?

Want to join a team that creates smiles and memories globally on a daily basis. Then you have the magic to be Team Merlin at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre."
