Two senior Jet Airways pilots have been fired after allegedly fighting inside the cockpit of a London-Mumbai flight last week.
The private Indian airline said in a statement that it had "terminated services of both the cockpit crew with immediate effect".
According to media reports the incident occurred after the male pilot allegedly slapped the female pilot.
Reports said the woman pilot left the cockpit in tears, but colleagues eventually convinced her to go back.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has suspended the licence of the male co-pilot.
The alleged fight occurred mid-air on 1 January 2018. All 324 passengers landed safely in Mumbai, India.
